You will need Eye Candy 4000. If you dont have 4000, Eye Candy 3.0, will work also Its from Alien Skin.

The Hat is Here: St Patricks Hat

This is a Vector Tutorial. Easy. Make a Color Chart with a Light and Dark Brown and a Lighter Brown and Shade, and you will also need Black.

This Tutorial was written in PSP 9. Can be done in any Version.

1. Open a New Image 500 X 500. Make your Background Color Your Bear Brown Color. Foreground Null. Using your Preset Shapes Tool/Ellipse. Make a Ellipse. Name this layer Leg. When done Right Click on this Layer and Choose Duplicate. Then go to Image Mirror.

2. Add a new Vector Layer. Using a the same Brown Color as your Background. Using the Preset Shapes tool Same settings draw a Larger Ellipse. Name this layer Pad. When done Right Click on this Layer and Choose Duplicate. Then go to Image Mirror. (Mine is a different Color So you Can See it)

3. Add a New Vector Layer Named Pad 1. Change your Background to A Lighter Brown Color. Using the Preset Tool/ Ellipse draw a Ellipse. When done Right Click on this Layer and Choose Duplicate. Then go to Image Mirror.

4. Add A new Vector Layer Named Body. Make your Background your Main Bear Color. Using The Preset Shapes Tool/Ellipse Draw an Ellipse. Pull the 2 side nodes Down a bit.

5. Add a New Vector Layer Named Arm. Using the Preset Tool/ Ellipse draw a Ellipse.Shape as shown Below. When done Right Click on this Layer and Choose Duplicate. Then go to Image Mirror. (Mine is a different Color So you Can See it)

6. Add A new Vector Layer Named Ear. Using The Preset Shapes Tool/Ellipse Draw a small Ellipse. When done Right Click on this Layer and Choose Duplicate. Then go to Image Mirror.

7. Add a new Vector Layer Named Head. Using the Preset Shapes tool/Ellipse. (Mine is a different Color So you Can See it)

8. Add a new Vector Layer Named Eyes. Change your Background to #000000. Using the Preset Shapes tool/Ellipse. Draw 2 small Ellipses for Eyes.

9. Add a New Vector Layer Named Muzzle. Make your Background the Lighter Brown Color. Using the Preset Shapes Tool/Ellipse. Draw an Ellipse and shape as shown Below.

10. Add A New Vector Layer Named Nose. Make your Background #000000. Using the Preset Shapes Tool/Ellipse. Draw out an Ellipse for the Nose.

Done Vectoring!

11. Go back to your Leg Layer. Right Click and Choose Convert to Raster. Go to Selections/Select All/Selections/Float. Change your Foreground to a Darker Brown Color. Using the Airbrush Tool, with the following settings, Shade around the edges:
Size: 55
Hardness: 7
Step: 24
Density: 100
Thickness: 100
Rotation: 0
Opacity: 24

DESELECT! Go to Effects/Plugins/Eye Candy 4000/Weave and apply with the following settings:
Ribbon Width: 1
Gap Width: 0
Shadow Strength: 5
Thread Detail: 10
Thread Length: 3
Fill with Solid Color: UNCHECKED!
Keep Original Image CHECKED!
Make Gaps Transparent: UNCHECKED

Go to Effects/Plugins/Eye Candy 4000/Jiggle and apply with the following settings:
Movement Type: Brownian Motion
Bubble Size: 5
Wrap Amount: 5
Twist: 80
Random Seed: 255

12. Repeat the same process for all the layers. I did not apply the Jiggle on the Pad 1 Layers.

13. Click on the Eyes Layer. Right Click and Convert to Raster. Go to Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel and apply the Round Preset. But Change the Angle to 0.

14. Click on the Muzzle layer. Right Click and Convert to Raster. Repeat the Same Process of Shading and Applying the Eye Candy.

15. Click on the Nose Layer. Right Click and Convert to Raster. Go to Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel and apply the Round Preset. But Change the Angle to 0.

16. Using your Preset Shapes Tool/Club 1. Background color a Green. Draw out a Shamrock on the Pad.

Add the Hat. And Decortae as you wish. I added a Vest.
