TRANSLATION

This is a Vector Tutorial. Easy. Make a Color Chart with a Green Light and Dark. Gold light and Dark, Black with a gray shade.

This Tutorial was written in PSP 9. Can be done in any Version.

1. Open a New Image 400 X 400. Make your Background Color Your Light Green Color. Foreground Null. Using your Preset Shapes Tool/Ellipse. Make a Ellipse. Name this layer Hat Bottom.

2. Add a new Vector Layer. Using a the same green Color as your Background. Using the Preset Shapes Tool/Cylinder. Draw out in the center of your Ellipse. Name this layer Hat. (I changed the color so you could see it.)

3. Add a New Vector Layer. Using a the same green Color as your Background. Using the Preset Shapes Tool/Ellipse. Draw out an Ellispe the same size as the Hat. Name this layer Hat Top. (I changed the color so you could see it.)

4. Add A new Vector Layer. Make your Background Color #000000. Using The Preset Shapes Tool/Rectangle Draw a Rectangle.

5. Add a New Vector Layer. Make Your Foreground Color a Gold Color. Using the Preset Shapes Tool/Rectangle, Width 8. Draw out a Rectangle for the Buckle. Name this Layer Buckle.

6. Go to the Hat Bottom Layer. Right Click and Convert to Raster. Go to Selections/Select All/Selections/Float. Change your Foreground to Your Shade Color. Using the Airbrush Tool with the following Settings Shade around the edges:
Size: 55
Hardness: 7
Step: 24
Density: 100
Thickness: 100
Rotation: 0
Opacity: 24

7. Go to the Hat Layer. Right Click and Convert to Raster. Go to Selections/Select All/Selections/Float. Then Go to Selections/Load Save Selection to Alpha Channel. Name it what you want. Then Using the Airbrush Tool, Size 55, Shade Just the sides.

8. Go to the Hat Top Layer. Right Click and Convert to Raster. Go to Selections/Select All/Selections/Float. Using the Airbrush Tool, Size 55, Shade just the top not where it meets the hat.

9. Go to the Band Layer. Right Click and Convert to Raster. Go to Selections/Load Selection from the Alpha Channel and load the selection you saved earlier. Go to Selections/Invert and Hit the Delete Key. Go to Selections/Select All/Selections/Float. Using the Airbrush Tool, Size 55, Shade around the edges with a Gray color.

10. Go to the Buckle Layer. Right Click and Convert to Raster. Go to Selections/Select All/Selections/Float. Go to Effects/3D Effects/Cutout and apply with the following settings:
Horizontal & Vertical: 0
Opacity: 55
Blur: 10
Shadow color: A darker color from your Buckle.
