This is A Vector Tutorial. Easy.

You can add any Images to the Vase you want. The Ones I used are in the Purchaseware Area

This Tutorial was written in PSP 9. Can be done in 7 or 8.

1. Open a New Image 500 x 500. Using your Preset Shapes Tool/Ellipse. Color does not Matter for the Background. Foreground Null. Draw out a Large Ellipse. Right click on the Canvas and choose Convert to Path. Using the Pen Tool shape the Vase as shown Below. You will need to add 2 nodes at the bottom and 6 nodes at the top to shape it. Hold down the CTRL Key to add nodes. When happy with it Right click on the Layer and Convert to Raster.

2. Go to Selections/Select All/Selections/Float. Then go to Load/Save Selection/Save Selection to Alpha Channel. Name it what ever you want. Now Hit the delete key on your Keyboard to clear the Layer.

3. Go to Selections/Load/Save Selections/Load Selection from Alpha Channel. And load your Selection. Go to Effects/3D Effects/Cutout and apply with the following settings:
Vertical/Horizontal: 25
Opacity: 50
Blur: 50
Shadow Color: #B52121 (you can use any color you want)

Add a new Layer and Apply the same cutout but make the Vertical and Horizontal -25. Right Click on this layer and choose Merge Down.

4. Using your Preset Shapes Tool again. Foreground color any color. Background Null. Line Width 15. Draw and Ellipse the same size as the Vase. Convert to Raster When Happy with it.
