TRANSLATION

You need the Alpha Channel Selections Image. Unzip to a folder
of your choice. PENCIL HOLDER FILE HERE

I have included the Wood pattern I used. It came with PSP 7 and 8 but not 9. Unzip to the Patten folder in PSP or just Open in PSP to use.

Open up the wgbpencil holder Image do a Shift D to duplicate and close out the Original.

This Tutorial was written in PSP 9. Can be done in 7 or 8.

1. Click on the Back Layer. Go to Selections/Load/Save Selections/Load Selection from Alpha Channel. Select 01-wgbback. Change your Foreground to the Wood Grain 01 that was included in the zip. Angle 90 Scale 100, and Flood fill. Go to Adjust Brightness and Contrast/Brightness/Contrast. Put in a -20 for Brightness and 15 for contrast.

2. Click on the Side Layer. Go to Selections/Load/Save Selections/Load Selection from Alpha Channel. Select 02-wgbside. Flood fill with your Foreground.

Go to Adjust Brightness and Contrast/Brightness/Contrast. Change the Brightness to -40 and apply

3. Click on the Front Layer. Go to Selections/Load/Save Selections/Load Selection from Alpha Channel. Select 03-wgbfront. Flood fill with your Foreground. Go to Selections/Select All/Selections/Float. Go to Effects/3D Effects/Cutout and apply with the following settings:
Vertical & Horizontal: 0
Opacity: 100
Blur:20
Shadow Color: #925814

Go to Adjust Brightness and Contrast/Brightness/Contrast. Change the Brightness to -10 and apply.

If you made the Pencil reduce the size by 75% and add above the Back layer.

Your Done! Save as a PSP file.
