You need the Alpha Channel Selections Image. Unzip to a folder
of your choice. PRACKENS DEN INTERIOR

The color Chart is included in the Image it self.

Open up the Den Image do a Shift D to duplicate and close out the Original.

This Tutorial was written in PSP 9. Can be done in 7 or 8.

1. Click on the Floor Layer. Go to Selections/Load/Save Selections/Load Selection from Alpha Channel. Select 01-floor. Flood fill with color #1. Go to Effects/Textures Effects/Texture, Use the Carpet Texture that comes with PSPand apply with the following settings. The Shadow Color is Color #1.

2. Click on the Side Wall Layer. Go to Selections/Load/Save Selections/Load Selection from Alpha Channel. Select 02-sidewall. Flood fill with color #2. Optional. I applied the Texturizer Filter. This is not a free filter so I can not offer it. You can always use PSP and apply a Texture if you want. Go to Adjust Brightness and Contrast/Brightness Contrast. Put in -10 for the Brightness 0 for the Contrast and apply.

3. Click on the Back Wall Layer. Go to Selections/Load/Save Selections/Load Selection from Alpha Channel. Select 03-backwall. Flood fill with color #2. And repeat the process if you applied a texture to the other wall. No Brightness Contrast here.

4. Click on the Floor Board Side Layer. Go to Selections/Load/Save Selections/Load Selection from Alpha Channel. Select 04-floorboardside. Flood fill with color #3. Go to Effects/3D Effects/Inner bevel and Apply with the following settings:

5. Click on the Floor Board Back Layer. Go to Selections/Load/Save Selections/Load Selection from Alpha Channel. Select 05-floorboardback. Flood fill with color #3. Go to Effects/3D Effects/Inner bevel and Apply with the same settings.

6. Click on the Stair Landing Layer. Go to Selections/Load/Save Selections/Load Selection from Alpha Channel. Select 06-stairlanding. Flood fill with color #3.

7. Click on the Ladder Layer. Go to Selections/Load/Save Selections/Load Selection from Alpha Channel. Select 07-ladder. Flood fill with color #4. Apply the same Inner Bevel.

8. Click on the Stair Rail Back Layer. Go to Selections/Load/Save Selections/Load Selection from Alpha Channel. Select 08-stairrailback. Flood fill with color #3. Apply the same Inner Bevel.

9. Click on the Stair Rail Front Layer. Go to Selections/Load/Save Selections/Load Selection from Alpha Channel. Select 09-stairrailbackfront. Flood fill with color #3. Apply the same Inner Bevel.

10. Click on the Window Layer. Go to Selections/Load/Save Selections/Load Selection from Alpha Channel. Select 10-Window. Flood fill with color #4. Apply the same Inner Bevel. Using your Magic Wand. Click inside the Window in both places. Go to the Back wall layer and hit the delete key.

Delete the color Chart Layer.

Your Done! Save as a PSP File.

Go Back to to finish off the items that go in the den.
