Tutorial Written 04/26/05
You need the Alpha Channel Selections Image. Unzip to a folder of your choice. BASKET FILE HERE
There is a color chart in the image.
Open up the wgbbasket Image do a Shift D to duplicate and close out the Original.
This Tutorial was written in PSP 9. Can be done in 7 or 8.
1. Click on the Back Layer. Go to Selections/Load/Save Selections/Load Selection from Alpha Channel. Select 01-wgbback. Make your Foreground Color #1, and Flood fill. Go to Selections/Float. Then go to Effects/3D Effects/Cutout and apply with the following settings:
Vertical & Horizontal: 0
Opacity: 100
Blur: 20
Shadow Color: #906736 Color #2
Go to Effects/Texture Effects/Weave and apply with the following settings:
Gap Size 5:
Width: 1
Opacity: 51
Weave Color: #D0B5A2
Gap Color: #966C3A
Fill Gaps Checked
Go to Adjust/Brightness and Contrast/Brightness/Contrast. Put in -20 for Brightness, 0 for Contrast. Apply
2. Click on the Front Layer. Go to Selections/Load/Save Selections/Load Selection from Alpha Channel. Select 02-wgbfront. Flood fill with your Foreground. Go to Selections/Float. Apply the same Cutout and Weave.
3. Click on the Bottom Rim Layer. Go to Selections/Load/Save Selections/Load Selection from Alpha Channel. Select 03-wgbbottomrim. Flood fill with your Foreground. Go to Selections/Float. Then go to Effects/3D Effects/Cutout and apply with the following settings:
Vertical & Horizontal: 0
Opacity: 100
Blur: 10
Shadow Color: #906736 Color #2
4. Click on the Top Rim Layer. Go to Selections/Load/Save Selections/Load Selection from Alpha Channel. Select 04-wgbtoprim. Flood fill with your Foreground. Go to Selections/Float. Apply the same Cutout.
5. If you want to place something in your Basket. There is a selection 05-wgbrim. Load it on the Top rim layer. Go to Selections/Promote to Layer. Drag this layer under the Front layer. Hit delete on the top rim Layer. Add things Above the Promoted layer and under the front layer.
Your Done! Save as a PSP File.
