Description: Learn how to draw a basic shape, Using the Path Tools. Use the Retouch tools to shade.

1. Open a New Image 300 X 300 with a White Background. Using the Path Drawing Tool, Custom Shape FI07, 2D: Color- #871727. Draw a Flower Shape 300 X 300.

Step 1

2. Right Click and Duplicate the shape. Go to Edit/Fill and Fill it with #838F9D. Using the Transform Tool Change the Size to 225 X 225. Using the Layer Manager. Click on Both Shapes. Right Click and Align Center/Both.

3. Using the Path Drawing tool, 2D, Circle, Color #FFECE1. Draw a Circle 75 X 75. Right Click and Align Center/Both.

4. Using the Line and Arrow Tool Straight Line, Size 1, Color Black. Draw a face.

Step 4

5. Right click on one of the the Flower Layers and Convert Object Type/Path to Image. Using the Retouch Tool, Burn Size 40, Soft Edge 50, Level 50. Shade around the Edges. Then use the Retouch tools Dodge, Size 10, Soft Edge 50, Level 50 shade the Lines in as shown. Repeat for the Other Flower Layer.
